Message from the Council President
The Higashimatsushima BLUELAND Council was established in response to the progressing climate crisis and the urgent need for city-wide environmental restoration. Working together with local communities, we are committed to conserving and restoring Higashimatsushima’s marine and natural environments for future generations.
Through this project, we aim to protect and maintain Higashimatsushima as a desirable and livable city, collaborating with academia, fishers, government, businesses, and citizens alike. We are also dedicated to supporting primary industries affected by climate change and to creating systems that foster a more sustainable and prosperous regional economy.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this important endeavor. And We look forward working with you all.
President, Miku Narisawa
